Sustainability

Responsible choices. without compromising on aesthetics.

Sustainability isn’t an add-on. It’s a design and production principle. We help brands translate responsible materials and ethical production into premium products—with a story you can stand behind.

About Us image

At Orimpex, sustainability means acting today with tomorrow in mind. In an industry often driven by speed and constant consumption, we take a
more responsible approach — valuing quality, durability, and thoughtful production over short-term trends. Since 2007, sustainable garment
manufacturing has been at the core of our business, built on transparency, traceability, and continuous improvement.

As of 2025, 95% of the fibers we use come from certified organic or low-impact sources, and our production aligns with globally recognized
standards such as GOTS, OCS, GRS, and other leading certifications across environmental and social compliance. Our material strategy
prioritizes organic cotton, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ Modal, along with certified recycled inputs — all supported by transaction
certificates to ensure full traceability from raw material to final garment.

As an active member of Textile Exchange since 2012, we contribute to the sector’s transformation through collaboration and continuous learning.
For us, sustainability is not a marketing concept, but a structured and measurable way of working — forming the foundation of how we grow
toward 2030 and beyond, supported by our annual sustainability report where we transparently share our progress.

The fabrics behind the finish

Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton

Grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, organic cotton helps protect soil health, water quality, and biodiversity. Certified under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), it ensures compliance with both environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain.

LENZING™ Fibers

LENZING™ Fibers

We integrate TENCEL™, ECOVERO™, REFIBRA™, and Lyocell fibers derived from responsibly managed forests. Produced in closed-loop systems that recover and reuse process water and solvents, these fibers offer traceability, reduced emissions, and a significantly lower environmental footprint.

Circulose®

Circulose®

Circulose® is a next-generation pulp made from recycled cotton textile waste. By transforming discarded garments into new fiber raw material, it supports circular production and reduces dependency on virgin cotton while minimizing waste and resource use.

Re&Up® Fibers

Re&Up® Fibers

Re&Up® fibers are produced through advanced textile-to-textile recycling technologies. By recovering valuable raw materials from post-consumer and post-industrial waste, Re&Up® enables high-quality recycled yarns with strong traceability and significantly reduced environmental impact.

Recycled Polyester

Recycled Polyester

rPET converts post-consumer plastic waste into high-performance fibers, reducing dependency on virgin fossil resources while lowering energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to conventional polyester.

Bamboo

Bamboo

Sourced from rapidly renewable bamboo plants that require minimal irrigation and no synthetic pesticides, this fiber offers a lower environmental impact alongside natural softness, breathability, and comfort.

Social Responsibility & Fair Working Conditions

In 2024, Orimpex successfully completed its first Amfori BSCI audit, achieving a B score. The audit evaluates labor rights, health and safety,
working conditions, and ethical business practices.

In 2026, Orimpex obtained Sedex membership, strengthening supply chain transparency and responsible risk management.

We are also regularly audited by the Fair Wear Foundation, focusing on fair wages, safe working environments, and social dialogue. We actively
support the principle of a living wage and collaborate with brand partners to strengthen ethical production standards.

B Corp Certification

B Corp certification evaluates a company’s overall impact across five key areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.
Unlike product-based certifications, it assesses the entire business model, measuring social and environmental performance, transparency, and
accountability.

Since 2023, Orimpex has been a Certified B Corporation, meeting internationally recognized standards of responsible and ethical business
practice. Through this certification, Orimpex is part of a global community of companies that balance purpose with profit and commit to long-term
value creation beyond financial performance.
