CIRCULOSE® is a pioneering material made entirely from 100% recycled textiles like that worn out pair of jeans in the back of your closet. Instead of ending up in landfills or being incinerated, these discarded cotton rich fabrics are transformed into a dissolving pulp: a renewable raw material used to produce viscose, lyocell, modal, acetate, and other regenerated fibers, also known as man made cellulosic fibers. These fibers are then spun into yarns, turned into fabrics, and ultimately crafted into high quality textile products giving old clothes a new life and making circularity a tangible reality.
The CIRCULOSE® Supplier Network (CSN) is a global community of forward thinking yarn and textile manufacturers dedicated to scaling the availability and use of Circulose across the industry. In 2023, Orimpex proudly joined this network as part of our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and environmental responsibility. By participating, we actively contribute to reducing the fashion industry’s dependence on virgin cotton and wood pulp, lowering our carbon footprint, and transforming textile waste into valuable new resources.
