RECYCLED POLYESTER

RECYCLED POLYESTER

Recycled polyester, also known as rPET, is made by transforming post-consumer plastic waste such as bottles and discarded textiles into new, durable fibers. The production process uses less energy and water compared to virgin polyester and results in lower carbon emissions.
By diverting plastic waste from landfills and oceans, recycled polyester helps reduce environmental pollution and supports the transition toward a more circular textile economy. It offers similar performance and durability to conventional polyester, making it a practical and more responsible alternative for fashion production.
While it remains a synthetic, non biodegradable material, recycled polyester plays a valuable role in reducing dependence on fossil-based resources and in making fashion more sustainable.
